Brody loves to climb! He will climb up onto anything that he can reach. He loves the stairs because they give him more "bang for his buck." He gets to climb a lot of things at one time... what little climber wouldn't love that? He knows that he's not supposed to do it, so when he hears me coming after him he gets this ornery little laugh and takes off up the stairs as if in a race. I must catch him in the above poses at least 15 times a day. Maybe it's time to get a gate...

On another note....
A friend of mine posted these words which I feel speak volumes to the upcoming presidential election. You may have seen them in an email or on someone else's blog. They have been attributed to Abraham Lincoln, however a little research uncovered that they are not, in fact, his writings. However, I think that they are powerful, regardless of who spoke them. Think on this a little...

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich

You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong

You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift

You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling the wage payer down

You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred

You cannot build character and courage by taking away men's initiative and independence

You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.
