The child has yet to meet a food that he doesn't like. So, after consuming an entire piece of pizza, he proceeded to dig in to his "smash" cake.
I think that the icing was his favorite part.
He was very sweet and offered to share with Jay, Drew and Paisley as they gathered around to watch him eat his cake.
Brody had a lot of little buddies and a lot of big buddies there to wish him a happy first birthday. Cousin Caden loved rocking on the caterpillar. Look at that cool hat!
Brody rode around on Brax's tractor and literally ran over Ben, Drew and Brax at different times throughout the party. Momo and Grandpa got him him his very own little 4-wheeler (just like Brax got for his first birthday). It is much more size-appropriate and much less dangerous to all of those in the vicinity. I'll have to post pictures of that soon.

And here is our jack-o-lantern, complete with a "bubba" tooth, just like Brax!

In addition to Brody's party, we took the boys trick-or-treating for the first time. We went with our good friends the Blankinships and the boys loved it! Momo and Grandpa got to join us for the festivities and for pumpkin carving afterward. I didn't get too many great pictures since it was so dark, but I did capture one of Momo and Grandpa with the superheroes!

(okay, I may have fabricated the part about intelligence, but Dr. John did say that he just had a big head to hold his big brain, so I made the obvious leap :) Here are his latest stats: Wt-24#10oz (74%) Ht-30in (55%) Head-49.3cm (99%). He's walking all over the place, saying 5 or 6 words (that I understand), climbing on and over everything, and learning something new just about every day! It's great to be one!

I can't believe Brody is a year old! Time flies. Brax and Brody are just adorable. Brody needs to teach Maggie some of his skills;)
