We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ours was richly blessed, especially by the two turkeys in the picture below.... Josh's parents were still in town, so we got to celebrate a Belville family Turkey Day. We missed my family, but we had a nice and relaxing day here at home. We enjoyed brunch at our house at around 10:00, followed by family nap time (thanks to my great husband who let me get two hours of uninterrupted sleep). Then, we walked next door to Rob and Kristin's house (Josh's brother and his wife are our new neighbors... I think I've mentioned this before...). They graciously offered to host the big meal since we were a little tired on this end of the block :) Below is a picture of my sweet little turkeys hanging out at home and doing a little brotherly lovin'. (Please ignore Brax's bed-head. He had just woken up from a nap).
Papa Dave workin' hard on the turkey! I especially enjoy this picture because he is wearing a very festive apron with Kristin's name on it. Dave is the master of turkey each and every year...
Mimi and Brax making a gingerbread man. Brax ate no dinner and licked the icing off of the gingerbread man for dessert. He was a bit strung out on sugar! Brax loved Thanksgiving and ran around the house eating up all of the attention. He loved helping me stir ("turr, turr") the stuffing and generally wanted to be in the center of all of the activity.

Below is a cute picture that I took while Mimi was holding Brody the other day. I'm getting a little more creative in my picture-taking skills.... thanks, Mary Alice, for all of the inspiration :)
And last, but not least, I'll leave you with a little preview of the Christmas decorating that has begun at our house. It feels strange to be putting up decorations when I haven't done a thorough cleaning of my house in over a month, but I must prioritize. If I wait until my house is clean again, it may be Easter before we get our Christmas decorations in place. So, I started a couple of days ago and we're planning to put the tree up either today or tomorrow. I love how the house looks decorated for Christmas, so I'll post some more pictures when we get it finished. I'm anxious to see how Brax reacts to Christmas this year. It should be fun!!!
