I wanted to post a quick blog to give everyone an update on the latest. I went to the doctor yesterday and she officially let me off of bedrest. She said that the baby didn't seem to be as far down in my pelvis as he was last week and since I haven't been having regular contractions anymore, she felt like I could get up and get back to more regular activity. Of course, she said that still meant taking it easy compared to how I was behaving when all of this started :) We as women often forget to take care of ourselves (and in my case, my little fetus), in the daily activities of caring for a family and a home. So, I'm going to try to keep that in mind. Thanks for all of the prayers that were sent up on our behalf. I know that is the real reason that things have improved so much in the last week and a half. So, now that I've done everything that I could possibly do from the comfort of my couch (organize pictures, repost every profile I have on every site, write three blogs in one week, start three new books, update journals, read Brax every book that he owns at least 20 times....) I can get back to the things of daily life such as laundry and cooking. Who would think that you would miss those things?? So, I'll leave you with a picture of Brax after his bath last night. He's wearing his cute new camo robe that his "girlfriend" Paisley got him for his birthday. So cute! Hope everyone is doing well!!

Ugghhh! I know you are relieved! Bedrest is for the birds - and it is impossible with a 2 year-old! I can't believe how cute Brax is in that tux! Good luck with you new little man - we are having a blast with 2 girls!
Love Kelley, Matt, Libby, and Lucy

Darci! I just caught up with reading your blog. Ohhh, I feel your pain. Bedrest is not fun! I was put on at 29 weeks too. I am glad you were able to come off of it. Spending 10 weeks on the couch is torture, but worth it when I delivered my little guy! I wonder what it is about 29 weeks? On a lighter note, you look beautiful! Brax in that tux...precious!!! Hope everything continues to go well!
