Our good friends, Bubba and Kristin, tied the knot this weekend and my two handsome men got to be a part of the wedding. Brax made his debut as a ring bearer and Josh stood up beside Bubba as one of his groomsmen. They both looked great in their tuxes and I couldn't have been prouder! We were very worried that Brax would refuse to walk down the aisle, but once he saw me in the front, he yelled "Mommy!" and ran down to meet me. I don't think that we could have asked for much more out of a two-year-old! Below is a picture of Bubba and Kristin with Brax and Ella.
This is a picture of Brax trying his tux on for the first time. He looked so cute!!!!
My son is usually the life of the party if dancing is involved. Last night was no exception! The child had us in tears with his great moves. He danced with anyone and everyone, from the bride to the flower girl, and even danced in the middle of a circle of women. We're going to have to watch this little guy!

Brax is at an age where he refuses to smile for pictures. This was the best I could do of him and Josh. Those are some good-looking guys!
This is the best family photo that we could get, sad to say! What can I say, we tried (and tried and tried)!
I love this picture of me and my little man! He get so silly at night when he's tired! This is the only picture that I posted where you can see the goose-egg on his head. He had an unfortunate encounter with the edge of the bathtub on Friday night. He's so tough that it barely phased him, but it did leave enough of a remnant to be visible in some of the pictures. That's life with a wild and crazy boy!!

Last, but not least, here is a picture of me (and my 30-week-pregnant belly) with my extremely good-looking husband :)

We had a great time at the wedding and got to reconnect with some old friends. I've been trying to take it easy, but I did get out of the house for the rehearsal and the wedding. My mom was here until yesterday and Josh's parents are here now. It has been so nice to have family here to do the 'yucky' things like laundry, cleaning, cooking, and grocery shopping. That has allowed me to do the things that I actually want to do during the few hours each day that I'm allowed to be up and around. I have truly been feeling great and am hoping that I will officially be allowed off of bedrest after I go to the doctor on Tuesday. Thanks to everyone for their prayers! I'll keep you posted!

I think I probably shouldn't show this post to Em. Her Brax crush might just spiral out of control if she sees him in a tux! ;o)
Glad you're able to be up and around a bit. Let us know if you need anything!

all of the photos are precious, but the b&w of brax in his tux is just TOO MUCH! what a little man! i know you must have been so proud of him.

so, so glad that you are feeling better. you certainly don't look like the typical "30 weeks pregnant and on bedrest" woman!
