I would like to take a second to make a public declaration that I hate packing. I despise it. I dread even thinking about it. YUCK! As if packing isn't bad enough, I have to sort through every box, every shelf of every closet, while stopping to look through high school yearbooks, college scrapbooks, nursing literature, and every other sentimental treasure from my childhood (which makes the dreaded packing last even longer), all while attempting to decide if I might, in one, ten or twenty years, need to wrestle the object of interest out of the attic for some obscure reason. Do you follow me, here? Packing is terrible... Especially for a packrat like myself. I hold on to way too many things for "sentimental reasons." A big thanks to my in-laws, who occupied Brax last week so that I could have some uninterrupted packing time. I made a big dent while they were here. In addition, a HUGE thanks to my sissy, who, only because she is a blood relative and loves me very much, tackled the dreaded kitchen with me today. Wow... from cleaning out cabinets to scrubbing down the refrigerator, she was a trooper. I had to post a few pictures of Brax helping me pack some of his toys.

I also had to post some pictures of Brax with his best friend, Reese. He loves that dog like she's the greatest thing on earth. Of course, she's great with him and lets him sit on her, pull her ears, and hit her with his toys. He has been walking around the house lately saying "Guh Grr." I couldn't figure out what in the world he was trying to say until I saw him petting Reese and saying "Guh Grr" over and over. Yep, she's a "Good Girl" and we tell her that all of the time when she's letting Brax beat her up. It's funny the things that he hears us say. Well, enjoy the pictures... I'm back to packing!

I know packing isn't any fun...my parents are in the middle of the same thing. Take heart that you only have 1/2 the crap to pack as they do. I'm glad you guys had a fun Christmas. Can't wait to see you next week at Bunco:)
