Brax, Brody and Everleigh

This past week was Brax's spring break from preschool. I also needed a break, so we headed up to my parents' house for a few days. It was the first time that I'd ever driven up alone with the two of them, and as the time approached to leave, I started to think that I might be a bit crazy. However, they were both PERFECT angels the entire way there and back. Below is a shot of my parents with the boys after their indoor Easter egg hunt.

Brave Momo let Brax experience two new things... Baking cookies... (he even used the mixer and poured in all of the ingredients)

And coloring Easter eggs.... This could have been a gigantic mess, but he had so much fun doing it, I guess that she didn't care about the risk involved :)

Here are the boys on a stuffed horse. Momo would make it "gallop" and the boys thought it was so much fun. Brax kept asking over and over to "wide the horse."

We even got to fit in a visit with both of my grandparents. Below is Brody with Great Grandma Ree...

It was a fun trip and we were all very spoiled by the end. I even got to spend some kid-free time with my very best friend, Kristy. We haven't done that in years and it was much-needed. Thank you, Momo and Papa, for being so good to us. It was a great spring "break" for all of us!
