Josh, Brody and I traveled to Denver over the weekend to celebrate with my dear friend, Jilayne as she became Mrs. Doug Smith. I was honored that she asked me to stand up and read during the ceremony and be a part of the wedding weekend. Below is the bride and groom during their first dance...

Brody was so excited to be held by the bride.... His "Auntie Jiggy"

Here we are, taking a break from the dance floor....

I love this picture of Chitty, me and Trish... except for the video camera in the background (and the fact that the wind made my hair look a bit like I belonged in an 80's rock video)
Family photo... minus that adorable redhead

We had a little time on Saturday to do some sightseeing. We headed out to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre to see the infamous structure. It was truly breathtaking! The picture below does not do it any justice!
Colorado is such a beautiful state! Unfortunately our trip was very short (we left Friday morning and came back this morning... I won't discuss the horrors of our travel days, but will only say that we probably spent more hours traveling than we actually did in Denver... but I digress...), so we didn't get to enjoy much of the things that Colorado has to offer. The wedding was amazing and I've never seen Jilayne so happy. We had so much fun at the wedding and all of the weekend's activities. I'll spare you all of the dancing pictures due to the fact that I would probably receive threats of bodily harm. However, if I posted them you would see just how much fun was had by all :)

"Where," you ask," was Brax during all of these festivities?" He got to stay home under the watchful eye of Mimi and Papa Belville. I don't believe that he missed us one bit and it appears that he had a wonderful time without us. Below is Brax in his "home depot" apron. Apparently he has some tools now and is ready to work on any handyman projects that you may have. Shoot me an email if you'd like to utilize his services. He will work for goldfish crackers and chocolate chip cookies....
He also spent quite a lot of time in the sandbox that Momo and Papa DeLong got him for Valentine's Day. Below is Brax, still in his pjs, doing some serious digging!
And, I had to include a picture of Mimi and Papa with Brody, Brax and Caden. I think that it's the first picture of them with all of their grand-boys. So cute! Now that there's three they never have to share and there's always a spare if one is busy :)

Sounds like a fun weekend! I love the pictures of the boys in the last post. They are SO precious. I am on the hunt for a new camera. If you don't mind my asking...what kind do you have, and is it easy to use? You take such wonderful pictures.
