Brax and I just returned from a trip to visit my family in Ohio. We had a great time (other than our unfortunate plane delays on the way home). I thought that I'd post a few pictures from our adventure before I dive into repacking our belongings. We're heading to the lake tomorrow to spend time with Josh's family in honor of his mom's 50th birthday. I'm sure that we'll have many great pictures after that adventure as well. Below is my mom and Brax hanging out on the swing in the backyard.

Brax and PaPa on their way back from retrieving the morning paper.

My parents had "Molly World" set up in the backyard. It included, but was not limited to, a Backyardigans slip n slide, a sandbox, the big pool, a kiddie pool, a huge ball that doubled as a sprinkler and my brother's old Power Wheels jeep. So, Brax kept very busy playing outside.

Of course, as always, we had to see my best friend Kristy and her little man, Jack. They came over one night to enjoy "Molly World, " and Brax got to show off his driving skills to Jack. Keep in mind, this jeep went very fast. However, Brax didn't know how to steer, so we would just turn the wheel to the side and let him go around and around in circles. It was hilarious! The cable that connects the video camera to the computer is packed in a box in the POD somewhere, so I can't post the video. On Monday we took a quick trip to Newcomerstown to visit all of my grandparents. GG (great grandma) and Willie (great grandpa) took us up to Tuscora Park, where they used to take me and my sister and brother when we were kids. Brax loved swinging on the big boy swing. He really thought that he was a hot shot.

Here he is shooting the person in front of him on one of the kiddie rides. I must say that this one was frightening. We didn't know how high it went until it got started... Brax was about six feet up in the air riding around in circles.

Brax rode on the train with GG and Willie, but I don't think that it was fast enough. They said that he was trying to get out!

So, that's a quick little picture tour of our trip. We had a great time, but are a little tired today from our travels. The laundry is drying and I'm getting ready to repack our bags. I'll post pictures from our grand adventure at the lake when we return. Have a blessed week!
