I know that I haven't posted in quite a while. Honestly, there hasn't been much to post about, and certainly no cute pictures to share (see end of post). So, I thought I would post Brax's stats from his 12-month check up.
Ht: 30 inches (47%)
Wt: 22lb (32%) (This number does not accurately represent him, as he was sick with a tummy bug last week and lost almost a pound. He was 23lb prior to the bug and that is about the 50th%)
Head Circumference: 46.75 cm (59%)
So, it appears that Brax has settled into the average side of everything. He's certainly looking thinner. He is so very, very busy that he must burn millions of calories a day!!! The past few weeks were a trying time here at the Belville house. First, Brax had an ear infection. When that finally cleared up, he developed a WEEK-long tummy bug. NOW he has a runny nose and cough. In the midst of all of that, he's been trying to cut at least three teeth. Poor baby!!! So, he was fussy, unhappy, and very clingy for about two weeks. I was seriously fearful that I had done something terribly wrong to make him such an unhappy child. However, he turned the corner at the beginning of this week and I realized that all of the crying and clinging to me was due to his sickness. He's back to playing by himself, laughing, running through the house, and performing stunts on the four-wheeler that he got for his birthday. (Seriously, I didn't know that he even knew how to get on it, but I turned around in the bonus room and he was STANDING on the seat and pushing the button to make it drive! I think Josh has been watching too many X-Games shows in front of Brax.) So... I'll attempt to get some good shots this weekend and post some pics for you all to see. Thanks for checking on us!

standing on top of the four wheeler??? yep....definately josh's child.
Darc, I can't believe it! Standing on top of a 4-wheeler! What fun. Boys will be boys, I suppose, but it's hard to believe that daredevil instict is already there!
Let me clarify... It's a small, kid-sized four wheeler. See my last post for pics of it. Don't want you to think that I'm a negligent mother :)
