Brax's favorite display was, once again, the aquarium. He was trying to "touch" the fish and a huge turtle. I couldn't get my camera to turn on in time to capture that picture, but it was so sweet.
The meerkat display allows you to go inside their habitat in this little glass-enclosed thing. However, it's a little difficult to crawl through the tunnel trying to herd two toddlers along the way :) Here is Paisley, sweetly showing me where the meerkats were sitting. Brax looks more interested in checking out Paisley.
I think that Brax's very favorite part of the zoo was the playground! They have a huge "room" covered in big squishy mats. Brax ran around laughed and laughed. He kept climbing on top of the pads and diving off, head first, to land on the ground. He thought falling was hilarious, and then did it over and over. He's such a boy!
I've been slacking on posting pictures lately. I have some more cute ones that I would love to share! There isn't much happening in "Brax" news. I did notice that three of his molars have pushed through his gums, and his two eye teeth as well. That makes a total of 13 teeth!! He also has two swollen areas on his lower gums that look like two more teeth are trying to come through. So many teeth for such a little guy! He is really learning how to manuever things and climb on things. I found him on top of the toilet the other day, removing the roll of toilet paper that I thought I'd placed out of reach! I think I have a climber on my hands. Hope that everyone is having a blessed week, and I'll post more pictures soon!
