Brax realized that there was a very cute baby in our condo and loved giving him kisses
Just a family photo in front of the parrots... except there were no birds in the picture :)
We celebrated Josh's first Father's Day while we were in Hilton Head. We didn't get to make a huge deal out of it due to the timing. However, I just want to tell him what an incredible father he is to Brax. Brax just lights up when Josh walks in the room. "DaDa" was his first word and he loves to use it to get Josh's attention. They are already buddies and I love to see them interact. I thank God daily for my wonderful husband and I love him more each day as I watch him with Brax. Happy Father's Day, Josh! You are truly a blessing to us both.
As part of the anniversary festivities, we chartered a sailboat. Captain Peter let Brax steer the boat and Brax couldn't have been happier! The boat was incredible and we had beautiful weather. Overall, Brax wasn't thrilled with the sailboat experience, but I think it was because he was tired....
Brax and Poppie at the wheel of the Schooner
Brax on the back of Grampy's bike. Look at the cute little handlebars he has for himself.
Brax and Grammy in the pool. She was in "hog heaven" as they say down here in the south. Hanging out with Brax and getting some sun... Is there anything better?
This is Brax in his little cart that attached to the back of the bike. He LOVED riding in it while we toured around the island. We returned safe and sound last night after about 8 and half hours in the car. Brax did so well throughout the whole trip, only really fussing when we got to about 45 minutes from home. He enjoyed getting to spend time with his "cousins," great aunts and uncles, aunt and uncle, grandparents, and of course, Bobo and Poppie. We had a great time with everyone and are looking forward to resting up after our vacation :) Brax is now suffering from the cold that I had before we left, so he's a little under the weather... I hear him beckoning me from his crib.... Back to work!
