My, oh my! May! We started out the month with a quick trip to Ohio to celebrate G-pa's 90th birthday with a big surprise party. And he was very surprised!!

Here's a picture of the birthday duo... Ev turned ONE and G-pa turned NINETY!

The whole family got to come and celebrate... siblings, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren~!

What an honor it was to get to celebrate this remarkable man! Grandpa has been such an example and inspiration to us all throughout the years. He's such a godly, kind, loving, hardworking man. He loves his wife and his family with all of his heart. It's hard to believe thatq he's 90! He still acts like he's 60.

Later that week, we had medal day at gymnastics. The boys were able to show off their skills and receive their medals on the podium.

After returning from Ohio, we celebrated Ev's First Birthday with our Nashville family and a few close friends. She enjoyed the cake and presents.... and the big boys enjoyed playing with the 13-year cicadas!

Brax completed another season of soccer...

Josh, Rob and Mimi got together and bought a pontoon boat. We enjoyed taking it out on the lake, enjoying the sun and playing in the water.

May also brought the end of another school year and Brax said goodbye to Miss Anna and to Otter Creek. Brody was sad to leave Miss Dele and his sweet class as well. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of their popsicle parties. We headed into another busy summer... More posts on that soon (hopefully :)
