November... Condensed

On to November... The first weekend was spent settling into our 'new' house. It was difficult to leave the old house because it was the first house that Josh built specifically for US. However, I always knew that it was temporary- thus is the life of a builder's wife. We miss the house and we miss our wonderful neighbors, but our 'new'/ temporary house is very close to everything we do and still has a big yard and plenty of space. So, the adjustment hasn't been nearly as difficult as it could have been. Brax played his last soccer game at the beginning of November and here are a few pics from that day.... He really enjoyed it!!

Our new house has many HUGE trees in the front yard.... which meant a lot of leaf piles to jump in for the boys... and a lot of leaf blowing and raking for Josh. The boys loved it.... I'm not sure that I can say the same for Josh :)

November brought a visit from one of my dearest friends from college, Monica. Because Monica was in town, one of my other best friends, Emily, came down from Louisville for a girls' night! We met up with Amber, Joni and Megan and laughed until our stomachs hurt. These five girls are woven into some of my best memories of college. I only wish that we got to see one another more regularly!

November also brought a long visit from Mimi and Papa. We had a great time with them, celebrating Thanksgiving and just enjoying the company. Mimi was a great sport and helped me capture some great shots of the kiddos to use for our Christmas card. Here are a few that made the cut... and a few that didn't :)
