We had snow! Thursday night brought a lot of the white stuff (for our area, anyway!). First thing Friday morning, Brax was ready to head out to play. Brody wasn't quite as enthusiastic. Perhaps that was because he had to wear my mittens :)

This was the most fun! Uncle Bobber got the last sled in town, so the boys were lucky enough to get to use it. Here are Brax and his good buddy, Clay, sliding down the driveway!

Our weekend was filled to the brim with work, birthday parties and Christmas festivities! We attended our buddy Bradyn's first birthday party at Pump It Up (sorry that I have no pictures), and then headed over to Stew and Angie's house for a Christmas extravaganza. Stew is Josh's good friend and business partner in Stone Oak Builders. He and and his wife, Angie, are such a blessing to us in so many ways. It has been such a gift to share this adventure with two moral and godly people who have the same goals that we do. Unfortunately I got no pictures of Stew and Angie, with the exception of the one below where Stew looks like he's perched on Josh's shoulder.
The party was a lot of fun and we saw many friends that we don't get to see on a regular basis (like Mark, here in the Santa hat :)
And here I am with my great neighbor (and even better friend), Sarah...
Then it was church on Sunday morning and another little shindig last night. Whew... what a weekend! The boys were a little tired this morning, so they hung out on the couch watching a little TV while they ate their waffles. I love how they are becoming such good buddies!
Whichever one wakes up first immediately begins asking for the other one. They're always hugging, wrestling, playing and fighting :) They love being together and make each other (and me) laugh and smile all day (and scream and cry, but it's more of the former than the latter:)
It is such a blessing to me that they want to be together. Brax always says that Brody is his best friend and Brody asks for "Baa" (Brax), or "buh-buh" (brother) a million times a day!
Thank you, God, for my precious boys and for the friendship that they have that grows stronger each and every day! Hope that everyone has a wonderful week! I'll post again after Brax's Christmas program on Thursday!
