Brax had Snoopy Day at school last Thursday. He was VERY excited to get back in the swing of things at school. Here he is, barely able to contain his excitement before heading off to see his new classroom.
And with "Miss" Betsy, his new teacher! This is a terrible picture of Brax, but it's the only one that I got. Miss Besty is still smiling in this picture because she doesn't know what she's in for yet. Brax's best friends, Ben and Drew, will be in class with him this year. Every time that the three of them are together, the term "herding cats" comes to mind. They are crazy. Good luck, Miss Besty and Miss Jeannie. We'll be praying for you :)
I thought this was a cute picture of some of the girls, out for a Girls Night Out last Tuesday. We call it Bunko, but we haven't played in over a year. It's just an excuse to get together somewhere and gab. We missed our three friends who couldn't make it this month :(
We've had a lot of company over the past couple of weeks. Both sets of grandparents have been here for a visit, so my kids have been spoiled beyond belief. Unfortunately, I failed to snap one good picture of the kids with either set of grandparents. As I mentioned, we're getting back into the swing of school. Brax loves it and I think I'll enjoy the one-on-one time with Brody. He rarely gets all of my attention as his brother is a bit of an attention-hog :) Brax has been doing great with potty training and hasn't had a day-time accident in over a week. It's about time, right? :) Brody is into everything! He's pulling up in any and every object and cruising around the furniture at a cheetah-like pace. I'm not sure if he'll be walking anytime soon, though. He's still very timid about letting go of his security objects and attempting to stand alone. So, that's a quick update on our world. I feel like life gets busier by the week! I'll do my best to keep new pictures up, but some days I barely get a shower. That's life with these two little blessings, right? I'll be clean someday :)

Hey Darci! I linked your blog from Amanda P's and was so excited to see your boys! They are both very handsome. I'd love to catch up with you sometime. I'm always curious to know who is still working in the PI. I miss that interaction sometimes! Talk to you soon.
