Brax, Brody and Everleigh

Here are a few pictures from our trip to the local fair. We opted for an evening adventure, rather than a whole day outing, and I think that Brax really enjoyed himself. Of course, his best buddies, Ben and Drew were with us and they can have fun no matter what they're doing. Below is our little cow after digging, planting and harvesting his crops at the little farmer exhibit.

We tried our best to get a shot of Ben, Drew and Brax in the photo op exhibit, but this is as good as we got....

Brax and Drew thoroughly enjoyed getting up in the big John Deere and pretending to drive.

Brax even got to "ride" a pony. He didn't want to get off of the poor thing when his turn was over.

Here's Brax, leading a llama. He thought that he was "pretty cool" as he says.

Brax, Ben and Drew enjoyed riding the kiddie rides, as you can tell from their faces in this picture. We had a great time with the Blankinships, enjoying all that the fair had to offer.

Brody was with us at the fair, of course, but he just hung out in his stroller the whole time. So, I didn't get any pictures of him. However, I captured this video of him "driving" his riding toy around the downstairs. It almost appears as if he knows how to steer :) Brody's been changing a lot over the past few weeks. He now has three teeth broken through on the top. He is "cruising" around the furniture, from table to ottoman and back again. He has learned how to pull up on everything and does it in a very unconventional way. He does his modified crawl over to the object of his desire, gets into the push-up position, pulls his knees up under him and then sits back on his knees. He then puts his hands up and pulls up onto the table, etc. It's very funny to watch and I wish that I could show him that there are much easier ways to complete the task :) His nine month check up is on Tuesday, so stay tuned for his new stats.
