Well, after a trip to the doctor last Wednesday, it was determined that Brax was suffering from a mild case of pneumonia. No wonder he was feeling so cruddy! After his first dose of antibiotics, however, he was a new man. I was so glad that he was feeling so much better so that he could celebrate Valentine's Day with his school buddies. Below is a picture from his party....
What a cute little Valentine! Josh was out of town on Thursday, so we celebrated our Valentine's Day last Monday. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner (without kiddos) and he surprised me with some beautiful earrings. What a great husband I have! So, on Valentine's Day it was just me and my littlest Valentines. I think that the kids enjoyed the school party and Miss Eva said that she could never really get them calmed down again after the sugar rush :)

We celebrated the annual Baby Blessing at our church last night. Brody was honored, along with around 30 other new babies. It's such a special night when the church stands up with the parents and vows to help raise these children in the Lord. I must say that it didn't go exactly as I had hoped it would go. Brax was in a terrible mood and didn't exactly behave in a way that allowed the focus to be on Brody. We'll just leave it at that. Children have a way of reminding us that we are not in control and that sometimes we just need to let go of expectations and enjoy the moment for what it is. I'm sure that one day we'll look back on it and laugh. However, I'm not there yet :) Below is the only suitable picture from the evening.... Brody's picture as they announced our family.

My parents got to be in town for the long weekend and we celebrated Aunt Abby's 26th birthday. How in the world can my little sister be turning 26??? Below is the only picture that I got of my parents with the boys. It's not the best, but it will do. Brax wasn't exactly cooperative :)
And so, it's the beginning of a new week here at the Belville household. We're so thankful that Brax is feeling better and that the rest of us are just dealing with a little stuffiness and not the full extent of Brax's cold. We're praying that we all get rested from the long week of sickness and lack of rest. We are so blessed and we're looking forward to another busy week. Keep checking on us!!
