Life has been busy around here, but we're keeping up! You can all welcome me back to the world of the real internet. A BellSouth man showed up at my door on Friday saying that he was here to help with my DSL problems, to which I replied, "what DSL?" Somehow there was a severe breakdown in communication and one office thought that we couldn't get DSL until October, while the other office had already hooked it up. Go figure. So, you're getting a blog with many pictures!! My good friend, Jilayne, and her fiance, Doug, were in town for the weekend, so we hosted an engagement celebration/ wedding shower shindig for them on Saturday night. We had a great turnout and it was so fun to celebrate with them. Below is a picture of some of the ladies that were in attendance.

Then, on Sunday, Josh's friend, Justin, from high school was in town. He broke away from his business to spend some time with us and visit the local fair. Below is a picture of Josh, Rob and Justin posing for me in front of the fair attractions.

Brax enjoyed the fair, but was a little over-tired from our long weekend. He thought that the Veggie Tales were great and proceeded to give Larry the Cucumber some "knuckles."

They had a farm station set up for the kids where they could harvest corn, feed "chickens," plant corn, etc, etc. Brax loved all of the stations that involved digging and tractors, and was especially happy that his harvest bought him an ice cream sandwich at the end.

Brax kindly played along and posed as a cow for me. He was cheesin' at first, but I missed the best picture.

Hopefully, I'll be posting more regularly from now on. I must say that I've already spent an hour today catching up with everyone's blogs. It's been far too long since I could check them with any regularity. Hope that everyone is doing well!!

Brax is very serious in that farming picture. I knew he got some Sunbury blood :)

Emmy is reading with me. She just said, "Brax is being a cow. That's really funny!" Indeed!

Oops, I put this comment on your other post, if you are like me I seem to always just check the most recent! So I copied it here too!

Hey Darci- Got your comment. Yes I can do that. The disc would have to be a little bit bigger than the one pictured, but yes I can definitely do that. Are you picky about the monogram, do you want the last name initial larger than the other two or can it be the same size? I have one with Will's where the letters are all the same size and it looks cute. Anyway, just email me at ckwjmw24@yahoo.com and we can talk more! Glad you like the stuff!
