Beach Trip... Post Two
We (well, mostly I), decided that we should try to get some nice family pictures on the beach. So, the last night that we were there, we headed out to the beach at sunset. Of course, Brax does not like to cooperate with posed pictures, but we did manage to get a few good ones. 
Brax preferred to run around on the beach and have us chase him in an attempt to capture a good shot.
I love this one of Josh and Brax. It is so sweet. They're such good buddies.
This was the best family picture that we managed to take. I've got some pretty handsome men in my life, don't I??
I know that most of the posts have been pictures of our immediate family, but I had to post some of the whole group. The Blankinships, the Belvilles and the Laytons. This picture was taken in Sandestin one evening. I can't believe that all of the kids are looking in the right direction!
And last, but certainly not least, this post would be seriously lacking if we didn't mention our wonderful babysitters, Winn and Melissa. They were so great with the kids and helped out around the house more than we ever expected. It was so nice to have time with our spouses on the beach while the kiddos took naps, and nice "high-chair free" dinners in the evenings. I highly recommed these two ladies if you need child care on your next vacation. 
So, we're back home today after 7 and a half hours in the car yesterday. Anyone who knows my child, knows that he doesn't like to sit still. Ever. However, he managed both the trip down and back with only about five minutes of total fuss time. Total. I was shocked at how well he traveled. Yesterday he only slept for about an hour of the drive and we only stopped twice. What did parents do before portable DVD players? I'm glad that we never had to find out :) We had such a great trip and are so blessed to have amazing friends like the Blankinships and the Laytons. I love that our kids are growing up together and getting to make memories that they will cherish as they get older. Hope that everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend!
