Sorry, Everyone. I know that I haven't blogged in awhile. I haven't been too inspired, but I pulled this one together out of duty to those of you who check regularly. Brax had his 18-month checkup last week. I can't believe that he's already a year and a half old. It's amazing to watch as things just click in his head. He's starting to talk more... or at least say words. Of course, he won't ever talk when we want him to show off, but I guess that's the nature of an 18-month-old. It's fun to see him put together things that we've been working on for quite awhile. Last night in the bathtub I was trying to get him to name things... Duck, Fish, Frog, Bubbles... He named everything that I asked, but he wouldn't even try to repeat "frog," he just kept saying "ibbit, ibbit." It took me a minute to figure out that he was just saying "ribbit, ribbit," when I held up the frog. He always calls animals by what sound they make, so I should have figured that one out. Anyway, that's just one example. More than his verbal advances are his physical advances. He's just a wild, wild boy. He climbs on everything, jumps off of the couches, and generally runs around the house full speed all day long. I love it!!! So, here are his stats from checkup:

Weight- 25lb 12oz (44%) Height- 32.5 inches (48%) Head Circumference- 48.7 cm (74%) He's been fairly average in everything since about 9 months, so not much has changed. Well, here are a couple of pictures from the last few weeks. Sorry I don't have many new ones. Below is a picture of all of the kiddos at Xander's First Birthday Party.....

Abby on the left, Mom on the right. Enjoying a little swing time with Brax when Mom and Dad were in town. Hope that everyone has a wonderful, blessed week. I'll be heading to Colorado next week for a little girls trip. Grammy Belville will be here to stay with Brax during the day while Josh is at work. I'm sure that Grammy and Brax will both have a great time. I'll try to post one more time before I head out of town if I can get some cute pictures.... If not, I'll post some great snow-bunny pictures when I get back!

I sure hope Brax is not 332.5 inches...if so, Lincoln has a lot of catching up to do! Love you and happy birthday! Trish
