Happy Halloween...

I have a million and one things on my agenda for this morning, but I had to take the time to post these pictures of our Halloween weekend. I love Halloween, but I must say that I'm ready to put it away until next year. Josh and I had parties Friday night and Saturday night, and we all had Trunk or Treat yesterday. Josh's mom was here to help out with Brax and it was a blessing to have a third set of hands around. Enjoy the pictures...

Trunk or Treat is an annual celebration at our church. We all gather in the parking lot and decorate our trunks to hand out candy to the kiddos from church and their guests. There were so many cute costumes this year!
I don't have any action shots, but all Brax wanted to do was run.. run.. and run.. around the parking lot. I must say, I didn't get to sit down and truly enjoy the little ones because I was chasing a lion. At least it was a very cute little lion!
Brax loved his costume! I was surprised that he didn't mind the big headpiece. Our original idea was to have Brax, Ben and Drew be "lions and tigers and bears," however, ebay didn't come through and Drew didn't get his bear costume in time. So, here's a "zoo" shot of a few of the kids. Obviously, they wouldn't all sit still at the same time, so this was as good as we got. I had to include this one of Josh and myself getting ready to head out to the Millers farm. Josh had this very cool costume- a fighter pilot- and decided to be Maverick from Top Gun. So, in order for us to be a couple, I had to be Maverick's lady- "call sign" Charlie- from the movie. I don't know how we wore jeans like that in the 80's. Whew... they were tight.

Brax has been angelic over the past few days... Happy, content, laughing all of the time. He's finally over his cold and I think that he only has one tooth left to come in before he gets a break. He's starting to try to repeat words. He'll go to his diaper bag or the cabinet and ask for a "ca-cah", bring me a "buck" to read, and even throw me the "baa". He's growing so fast. He loves to dance every time he hears music, and I catch him in the back seat of the car waving his arms and bobbing his head. He's hilarious!
