I know, I know... it's been quite a long time since I updated this blog. So, grab a cup of coffee and sit down for a long entry. The reason that this site has lacked an update in two weeks is because Brax and I took a trip to Ohio to spend some time with MoMo and Grandpa D. Brax was a little angel on the plane, sleeping the entire way both there and back. We enjoyed an early Thanksgiving with my family, compliments of my mother, the entertainer. All of my grandparents and aunts and uncles also got to meet Brax for the first time. While we were in Ohio, my best friend Kristy's little guy, Jack, turned one. So, Brax got to be a guest at Jack's first birthday party! Mom and I spent most of our time shopping, with Brax grabbing meals in the car and napping in his carseat. What a wonderful, laid-back baby! We are so blessed. During the course of the week, Brax developed quite a love for ceiling fans. Every room that we enter, he looks up for the fan and then starts to smile and coo. I think it's a bit strange, and I can't see him lugging his "security fan" to preschool like most do with their blankets. We'll see where this obsession goes... We arrived back in Nashville on Wednesday and were greeted by Grammy and Grandpa Belville. We spent a lovely Thanksgiving at Rob and Kristin's house and the boys did a little deer hunting in between all of the eating. We're finally spending a day at home today, catching up on cleaning and such and getting ready to decorate the house for Christmas. I posted some pictures of Brax with my grandparents and one of Brax and myself with Kristy and Jack. I also posted a couple of cute ones of Brax in his "Be Jolly" snowman outfit. He's so much fun right now... I'm pretty sure that I say that with every post, don't I? I just love how he gets so excited about things and smiles and laughs and coos. I could just sit all day and watch him. Well, we've got a trip to Gatlinburg coming up next weekend with several of our friends from church. Say a prayer that all goes well with three pregnant women and two babies all staying in one cabin :) I'll post some more pictures after that adventure. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have been so blessed that God has given us this beautiful boy. We had much to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving!
