Okay, my new goal is to try to keep this blog updated at least twice a week with new pictures. Several people I know update them daily to keep their out-of-town family in the loop. I, however, will start with a more attainable goal and shoot for twice a week :) I am also going to try to do better about filling everyone in on the details of daily life. Most of you could probably care less, but I know that some of our family would love to know what we're doing. Brax and I have had a great week so far. We went out to lunch with friends on Tuesday and Wednesday. Yesterday, actually, we went to lunch with a "Mommy Group" from church. All of the babies were a little older than Brax, but we had a great time. We've been out on the town, running errands and doing other fun things. Brax has started sleeping better in his carseat than anywhere else :) Today is a big day- I'm leaving him with a "babysitter" for the first time while I go to the dentist. Other than Josh and me, he's only stayed alone with his grandmas. Actually, a friend of mine from work is coming to watch him and if I can't trust a pediatric nurse to take care of him, who can I trust? The screaming photo that I attached is for all of you who told Josh and me that we didn't deserve to have a well-behaved baby after the way that we acted as children (I believe these comments came from my mom and Josh's mom :) Brax is certainly much more "active" as his due date approaches. His laid-back demeanor is slowly being replaced with a much more assertive one. I should have known that no son of mine and Josh's would be laid-back for long. I can't wait for our families to see him again. He seems like a different baby. Gone are the days of sleeping for hours on end, that's for sure. He's so much more alert and interactive. At least our nights are still relatively peaceful (I say this, keeping my fingers crossed and saying many prayers). We're still enjoying every minute of watching him grow. It's sad that I've had to put away most of his preemie clothes because he can't wear them anymore. Where does the time go? Thanks for keeping us in your prayers and I'll do my best to keep new pictures and updates coming.
