Happy Halloween! Our little "Pea in a Pod" looked awfully cute, didn't he? This past week was monumental for Brax. On Tuesday night, Josh and I had him on his tummy for some "tummy time," and wouldn't you know, he rolled right over!! I realize now, however, that it must have been a fluke thing, because I have not been able to get him to repeat the skill. In addition, Brax slept for six consecutive hours last night! I woke up at 4:00, stumbled frantically out of bed and into his room, only to find him sleeping peacefully in his bed. After I picked myself up off of the floor and recovered from my heart attack, I thanked God for MY six consecutive hours of sleep. That hasn't happened since I was about six months pregnant! Thus, today I feel very rested despite our busy weekend. We had a wonderful "Halloweeny" Saturday and Sunday. We joined our friends Brian and Tara Layton, and their little girl Paisley, for a trip to Gentry's Farm. We walked around, enjoyed a corn maze, and took some very cute pictures. Last night was "Trunk or Treat" at church and Brax dressed up a like a pea in a pod. Josh decided to forgo the nun costume that he wore on Friday (of which I will not post pictures due to threat of bodily harm), and go as a party pooper (meaning he wore no costume). I, also, could not find a cute costume, and therefore drug my old cheerleading sweater and pom poms out of the attic. Sadly enough, if you look at the pictures from last night, you might think that they are from a Friday night in 1996. I don't think I've changed too much. We had such a great time at Trunk or Treat. It was so much fun to see all of the little ones in their costumes. We all decorated our trunks and handed out candy to about 200 kids. Our little pea behaved quite well (actually sleeping through most of the festivities), and may have been the youngest child in attendance (and most certainly the cutest). We're looking forward to a weekend visit from the Belville grandparents and great grandparents (Mama and Papa Miller. Brax shows us so much more of his personality each and every week and we're looking forward to sharing it with them. He's smiling at us now and has even vocalized a few little coos here and there. He definitely recognizes our faces and will spend so much time just sitting and "playing" with Josh when he gets home from work. This parenting thing is so much fun! Thanks for checking in on us and keeping us in your prayers!
