February... so long ago :)

Februrary... it seems so long ago. Once again, I'm committed to catching up for the sake of my online scrapbook. We closed on our new house at the end of January. This is what it looked like at the time. It's come a long way since then! I will post pictures of the progress in a separate post. Abby and Joah were honored with a Sip N See and she received much love and many sweet gifts. I love that sweet baby boy and am so thankful that we got to honor him and his mama in such a way~!

In addition, "Auntie Jiggy" came to town and we got to host a shower for her and her sweet baby-girl-to-be...
Oh how I love these girls. They're the kind of friends that will last for a lifetime. I am glad that Jiggy found her soulmate and all, but I sure wish they didn't live so far way. Although, Colorado is a nice place to visit! I would love to be raising my baby girl with with hers :)

Sweet Baby E was dedicated to the Lord in the presence of our entire family and church family. We could not feel more blessed to be a part of a community that loves and values children in the way that Otter Creek does. There were 30ish babies born in the last year and I can't wait to see what God has in store for each one. Both Brax and Brody were dedicated in this santctuary in the presence of these people and we are immensely grateful! In my humble opinion, there is nothing more important that teaching your children to love Jesus and a huge part of that is being involved in place where they are known and loved, in a community where they see others being the hands and feet of Jesus each and every day! So blessed to be raising our kiddos at OC!

My sweet friend (and old college roomate),Megan, with her baby, Will. I love that they will grow up together~!

A typical attempt at a family photo...

And February was full of sunny days. We spent much time outside, burning off the energy that builds up during winter. These children are so full of life and laughter. They bring a smile to my face!

There's Februrary. I've got March on the books too!
