Brax's birthday started off a little early with a Buzz Lightyear from Mimi. She had to return to Ohio to wrap things up before moving to Nashville, so Brax got to get this guy a few days before the big day. He was SO excited!!!
Then, on Friday, Everleigh and I went to school to eat lunch with Brax! He got to stand in front of the class and have "Happy Birthday" sung to him while he stood proudly with Miss Amanda. It was so fun to watch him in his element and to see how much he enjoys school.

For his big birthday celebration, Brax chose to have a "boys only" campout, complete with a bonfire, flashlights, bug catching and, of course, tents. Brax's best buddies (and their dads) were in attendance and they all had great time!! Here are the 'bug cupcakes'....
Cousin Caden was the youngest buddy to camp out and he did so great!!! Here he is giving little Ev some love...

Uncle Bobber took everyone for rides on the Bad Boy Buggy...

All of the kids had glow sticks in their birthday bags.... Brax with his best buddies, Ben and Drew

Love this snuggle buddy!!!!

The kids on the BBB.... AGAIN!

Lights Out!!!!

The kids' first campout was so much fun! I think that it may be an annual tradition :)
Momo and Grandpa were in town working on their new condo, so later that night we had ANOTHER birthday celebration!!!
Momo and Grandpa got him a Nintendo DS (among other things) and he loved it!!
Uncle Jared, Aunt Abby, Trevi, and Uncle Ty were there too. They got him fun gift cards to Climb Nashville and Pump It Up. What perfect gifts to save for when the weather gets colder!!!

And last, but not least, Mommy and Daddy had one more surprise up their sleeves. Brax's actual birthday was on Labor Day. We rolled out of bed a little later than usual and headed outside. Waiting for Brax was a new electric dirtbike!!!
He loved it!!!! He's done so great learning how to ride it. Josh has been riding dirtbikes since he was Brax's age and has loved watching Brax share in that fun. I'm sure it won't be long before Daddy has to have one too :)
Whew... do you think we celebrated this kid enough???? :) He sure deserves it, though. What an amazing child he is. God has blessed us so greatly by allowing us to be his parents. He brings us so much joy each and every day! Here's to being FIVE!!!
