Here is our week in review... First, Josh's grandparents, Bobo and Poppie, stopped in for a visit on their way home from a work engagement. We got to spend several days with them , as well as with Josh's mom. I think that they enjoyed playing with Brax and cuddling our littlest man. We're so glad that they have gotten to see both of our boys while they were still little. Sometimes it's tough to get together when we all live so far away, but our visits are always so special and we were so glad that they took the time to spend a few days with us.
The weekend was a crazy, packed adventure. First, we spent Saturday morning enjoying Breakfast with Santa at church. Brax was a little grumpy due to a cough, a lack of sleep, and a bright and shiny goose-egg that he received compliments of our bathroom door. However, this year was much better than last year. Brax was intrigued by Santa, but not fully excited by him. Brody slept through the whole adventure. Brax also tried to feed Santa his pretzels. That was the extent of our adventure....
We hurried home from Breakfast with Santa to prepare for a baby shower honoring Rob and Kristin. We had a great turnout- over 30 people- and they got many wonderful gifts to help prepare for little Caden's arrival.
After the shower, many of us caravaned over to our friends, Seth and Melissa's house for a festive Christmas party. We had a great time with many friends that we don't get to see often enough. Josh's mom was still here, so we had a kidless night! Throughout all of this, my friend, Kat. and her husband, DJ, stayed with us for the weekend while they were in town for a visit. We finally got to spend some time with them last night. Here we are with the boys... (Brax still grumpy from a lack of sleep, cough, goose-egg and a new fat lip that he got yesterday morning :)
So, as you can see, we're up to our ears in holiday craziness! We were talking with Kat and DJ last night, and the subject came up of Brax's famous dance video. We had forgotten how very, very funny it was. So, if the holiday season is stressing you out a little, click here for a good laugh! We have much more going on this week, so keep checking for our posts laced with holiday cheer!

Darci!!! I was just thinking about Brax's famous dance video! I wanted to find it, but I had no idea where it was in the midst of all your posts! How funny! Thanks for the laugh! We hope you four are doing well! :o)
Darci, I have only been looking at your blog for a few weeks, so I have not ever posted. I had to post, though, about that video! There are tears in my eyes from laughing so hard! Great capture! Thanks for posting about it again.
