The good news is that I'm back on the internet... sort-of. The bad news is that I'm dialing up. Yes, every time that I want to get on the internet I have to listen to the sound of a dial tone followed by that connection buzz that we all remember from high school. Quite sad, I know, but the only option at the moment. At least I can check my email from home, even if it does take 10 minutes just to get to it :) So, I started this post last week and it took over an hour to download the picture below. That being said, it's the only one that you're going to get! Obviously, it's a picture of Brax on his first night in his big boy bed. I know that he doesn't look like much of a big boy with that paci in his mouth, but we'll fight one bedtime battle at a time.
Our weeks have been busy and Brax is reaching new levels of mischief. I'm not sure how I'm going to keep a reign on him and have a newborn. Lots of prayers for me, please! For example, the other day I left him downstairs to watch TV while I switched the laundry. After a few minutes, I got to thinking that I may not have locked the back door. I ran downstairs and, sure enough, the back door was wide open and he was nowhere in sight. As I ran in a panic down the stairs and around the house, I found him "mowing" in the front yard. I learned a great lesson about keeping the doors locked at all times! Yesterday, while I was in the shower, Brax decided that LaLa (his blankie) needed to go for a swim and then be used as a mop to clean my bathroom floor and his clothes. The only problem was that the water source he used for the mopping was the toilet. So, LaLa, Brax, and my floor got another bath. Then, this morning, as I sat down to enjoy a cup of coffee, Brax came out of nowhere and tackled me (coffee cup in hand), onto the couch. Coffee went all over Brax's head (I mean, it looked like I had poured it on him), clothes, and the couch. So, we ran upstairs for his 3rd bath in 24hours and then I spent 20 minutes trying to clean up the couch. I believe that the tackling was a direct result of spending all day Sunday with Daddy while I worked. They tend to do a lot of wrestling when I'm not around :) Well, I will attempt to post another picture today. I'll just let it do it's work while I do my chores... maybe in an hour or so I'll have another picture on here!

I don't think you are talking about the same Brax that came to stay with me...he was so sweet. Anyway, I guess boys just being boys! I'm sure Jay is not far behind.

How funny, what a little stinker!! I am glad that you guys are getting settled in your new house! I want to see pics when you get a chance!! While we were in Nashville last weekend I heard your husband's name mentioned a few times. It was from Karina Walters and Trevor Coe (regarding Dallas' house)!! Sounds like he has a very successful business!! Hope you are feeling well.

I told the coffee tackling story to Bart, and unfortunately, he was rather amused. Similarly to Josh and Brax, I think he wants to make a strong tradition of wrestling with Elijah. Yikes! :o)

Wow! I think all little boys have the same ideas. Drew does the same type things. He went out our garage door one day and we found him on the front porch smelling the flowers! Scary!!!! Your so good to have him in a big boy bed, I have not attempted that yet!
