We woke up this morning to snow. Now, I use the term "snow" loosely, as you can still see the grass. However, in Nashville, this is about as good as it gets. So, although I hate being cold, I thought that it was my job as a mother to not deny my son the experience of playing in the snow. After all, Josh and I both spent our childhoods in Ohio, where we played in snow up to our waists at times. So, I bundled him up in many layers (because, of course, he does not have a snowsuit), and headed outside with the camera. I wasn't sure how he would react, but he enjoyed it. He loves being outdoors, whether it's freezing or steaming hot. So, he ran around in the snow while I snapped a few pictures.....

Then, our neighbors and good buddies, Heather and Emmy, gave us a call to come play with them in the snow. So, we bundled up again and headed over to the next building. (It's kind of fun that they're in-between houses too. It's like being in college... but with kids :) Emmy wasn't too impressed, but Brax ran around like a crazy man. You can see the look on Emmy's face. She doesn't seem to understand his excitement...

THEN... we headed over to the mall to celebrate my friend Tara's birthday and let the kiddos play on the indoor playground. Apparently we were the only people in Nashville venturing out of our houses. There was no one there! Below is a picture of Paisley, giving Brax a bear hug on the way down the slide.
Mommies and kiddos.... Bad picture of me, but cute of everyone else. We took this picture for Sallie, as she's moving in a couple of weeks. She wanted one more picture of us for the road!

In a side note, I went out to our lot yesterday. Obviously, there's still no progress. However, I thought that I would post a picture of the future site of our new home. It's even pretty on a cloudy day in the dead of winter!!
So, that's it for the Belville household today. I need to get to some of my "chores," but I had to post all of the pictures of our busy day. Hope everyone's having a great week!

I love all of Brax's little snow tracks. And then there's Emmy who has no tracks what so ever. She gets her cautiousness from her daddy!
