They just don't make wagons like they used to. I remember the wagon of my youth: wooden, flat, with side panels that fit down into metal holders. The Radio Flyer of today features a build of all plastic (which minimizes splinters in little hands), a bottom that flips up into two seats- complete with back rests and seat belts, and a handy sippy-cup holder for the much-needed refreshment in the middle of a wagon ride. Brax received this beautiful ride before he was even born- compliments of the Allen family. Today he got to take it for a spin on the sidewalks of the neighborhood.
Paisley and Xander came over today to hang out for awhile. Brax asked me very nicely if he could show off his new ride to his girlfriend. Of course I said yes, and loaded them up for a trip down the street. Bad idea. I had Xander strapped to me in the little Snugli, attempting to pull Brax and Paisley in the wagon at 12:00 noon with a heat index of 105. Stupid, stupid! It only lasted about ten minutes. However, as you can see from the above photo, the weather was not the only thing heating up! I hope she's not using him for his wagon! When we returned to the house, sweating and exhausted (well, that was just me), I discovered that they didn't even need to be pulled in the wagon to have a good time. As soon as I took them out, they tried to get back in. "Pease, pease, pease" Paisley would say (that's please if you didn't catch it), begging me to lift them back into the seats. They played that way for an hour. Not my choice of perfect dates, but it seemed to work for them!

How cute!!! Of course Christian has the same ride so him and Brax can always duke it out to see who gets Paisley:) I hope your day went well and you get plenty of rest tonight.

Very cute post! Maybe I need to get Emmy a sweet ride of her own so she can cruise for the boys. Hubba-hubba!

Okay...so arranged marriages aren't so bad are they?! Thanks so much for watching them...you don't know how much I appreciated it. Oh, and just so you know Paisley puts every phone she can get her hand a hold of, puts it to her ear, and has a conversation...with every other word being "Brax." I think she's in love :-).
