Xander Blakeley Layton weighed 9lb 6oz and was 21 inches long. Here's a picture of Brax with this buddy, Xander, and a picture of the daddies with their boys. Tara and Brian are the proud parents, and Paisley is the proud big sis!

I can't dedicate a post to "birth-days" without mentioning my wonderful husband. For my birthday, yesterday, Josh scheduled me a massage, came and got Brax and let me have a day of pampering. Then he arranged for Aunt Abby to babysit and we had a wonderful dinner- just the two of us- for the first time since Brax was born. (We have been out, but it's always been with other couples...) Anyway, I had a wonderful 27th birthday, thanks to my husband. I thank God for him daily!
