It was one year ago today that we found out that this sweet little boy would be joining our family. That day rates up there in the top five days of my life. I just remember crying and thanking God for the miracle that He had given us. What a beautiful thing it is to look at him now and remember how we felt that day! Sorry I don't have many pictures to post for the week... and I know that's really the only reason that people check this website :) I like this one because it shows how he's starting to explore things. Maybe that's only cool to a mom, I don't know. The stats from his physical were as follows: Wt: 15lb 3oz, Ht: 24 inches- that's the 25-30th percentile for his age. From the 2nd percent to the 30th percent... what a leap! We've had a busy, busy week. I worked on Saturday (another enjoyable day to use my nursing skills and practice the art of adult conversation), we had a Superbowl party on Sunday (which included approximately 14 adults and 5 children), and I've been watching an 18-month old for the week (he's a sweet, well-behaved boy, but I must say that it's been good birth control).

Our dear friends, Eric and Sallie, had their son, Eli James, last Wednesday (that's a picture of him to the left- isn't he adorable?). Sallie had preeclampsia and they had to do a C-section at only 34 weeks. Eli has been in the NICU, but should be coming home at the end of the week. Please keep them in your prayers. Josh is also feeling a little under the weather, so hopefully we won't be spreading his sickness among the family. I'll try to take some more pictures this week so that I can update the "good" part of the website. Have a great week!
